IJA Marikina Gets PAASCU Accreditation

The office of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) recently informed  the School Directress,  Mrs. Consolacion F. Mallonga, through a fax message that the IJA Marikina High School Program has been granted PAASCU accreditation until 2012. This makes IJA the first co-ed school in Marikina to be granted this most sought after recognition.

The good news was joyfully received by the members of the entire IJA community who worked long and hard for the realization of this long-awaited dream. PAASCU is the most prestigious accrediting body in the country, and the stamp of approval from this respected organization is a testimony to the school’s adherence to its commitment to excellence and relevance in education. In a letter to the members of the IJA community, Mrs. Mallonga thanked everyone for their hardwork and support to enable the school to attain the recognition. She further informed them that the Grade School Department is currently preparing for the PAASCU consultancy visit in February 2010 for the eventual accreditation of the Grade School program.
